Cottlesville is a small rural community in Notre Dame Bay, Newfoundland, Canada.  It has a population of approximately 300 friendly folks. It has breathtaking scenery, with rugged landscapes and peaceful harbours. Luke’s Arm can accommodate ships which draw thirty feet of water. Ideally located near the water, it is an excellent place to view icebergs and whales. Located in central Newfoundland, it is an excellent location to live, or to run a business. Nearby communities such as Twillingate, Lewisporte, Grand Falls-Windsor and Gander hold many tourist attractions such as golf courses, museums, shopping centres, and rec-facilities. Also located in these areas are hospitals, an airport, car dealerships, etc.. Cottlesville itself is serviced locally by a convenience store, tailor, fox and hennery farm, multi-purpose sports field, and a large fish plant. Being the largest employer of the community, Breakwater Fisheries Limited Processing Plant employs many people not only from Cottlesville but from other communities in the vicinity. However, the fish plant is only involved in primary processing. Since the plant is only used for primary processing, it is idle for many months of the year. Cottlesville would be an ideal location for a company to set up secondary processing. It would also be an ideal location for a marine service centre.
