| SHANE DOLMOVIC WELCOMED TO COTTLESVILLE On a beautiful sunny evening Shane's sister Melanie hugs big brother as he is met by over 100 people on the Cottlesville road. On his entry, his mom Arlene and grandparents Alonzo and Bertha enbraced him as the crowd looked on as many mothers and others allowed the tears of joy to wet their eyes. The event was well organized by the Rec Committee who prepared finger foods at a crowded Rec Centre where Shane had a chance to talk with everyone. More Shane's Arrival |

Hi Victor,
Haven't heard from Shane since he returned to Afganistan last Monday but no
news is good news.
I just wanted to let you know that if anyone wanted to drop him a letter
they can send it to the address below and it will be forwarded to
Afganistan.
I'm sure our soldiers over there appreciate everyone who
takes the time to remember them.
Thanks Arlene
Hi Victor,
Here are a couple of pictures of Shane in Afganistan I thought you

Hi Victor,
Just wanted to let you know that Shane is based in Pettawa. He leaves
Tuesday Feb. 6 for Afganistan. This will be his first deployment, he'll
be
over there for 5 weeks then be back to Pettawa for a couple weeks
leave,
then when he deploys around the end of March he'll be gone approx. 5
months.
We wish him a safe tour and we'll be thinking of him every day.
Arlene

Hi Victor,
We've only heard from Shane once since he arrived in Afganistan, they are
gone out in the field for 3 weeks now, it's going to be awhile before he's
in touch again. But I will certainly keep you up to date as much as possible
and I would like to say thank-you to you and all of our friends and family
who are so supportive of Shane and his comrades. It's not easy on us knowing
that he is over there and not knowing what the news will bring but I am
certain that it is much harder for the men and women that are fighting in a
strange country so far from thier homes and families. So again our thoughts
are with them every day and we hope for a safe return for all of them.
Thanks Arlene
